Currently, the diagnosis R26.8 Other and unspecified gait and mobility disorders in a pediatric patient is classified under MS S73-34 Other nervous system disorders, classified under Level II of the 73 Pediatric Neurology Program and shared with the 50 Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine Program, the 62 Pediatric Ophthalmology Program, 63 Hospital Pediatrics Program, 69 Pediatric Rheumatology Program, 74 Pediatric Psychiatry Program.

Answer

Thank you for your suggestion. The Expert Working Group on the Pediatric Orthopedic Program does not see a need to include MS S73-34 in the Pediatric Orthopedic Program.
