Information on completing applications
Internal testing of applications is currently underway. Application details will be delivered to hospitals in mid-March.
Completing the application on kategorizacianemocnic.sk provides standardised responses and helps to ensure that the necessary information is filled in completely and correctly. This allows us to evaluate your application more efficiently. Thank you for using this tool.
- The first time you logged into your profile, you were automatically prompted to change your password and fill in your hospital identification information. This information will automatically be used when you export your claims, making the process easier and saving you time. You can update your hospital information in the "View Profile" section
- Once you have completed the profile, you will be given access to create the applications defined in Act No. 540/2021 Coll. After opening each application, you will be asked to fill in the necessary information that does not appear in your profile. When you export the application, the information from the application will be linked to the information from your profile. Applications can be saved as a draft at any point and returned to later. Drafted applications are stored in the "Drafted Applications" folder
- Once all required fields have been completed, the application can be saved and a ZIP file with the completed application and all attachments can be created via the "Export" function. Completed applications, including exported applications, are stored in the folder "Completed applications." To export an application, click on the
icon.
- Non-networked hospitals that have not yet established login credentials can have them set up by contacting the Department of Health at sietnemocnic@health.gov.sk.
The application must be submitted either electronically via the slovensko.sk portal with a qualified electronic signature, or you can submit the application in writing, but it must be signed by a statutory representative of the hospital. Only in this case is the application considered complete and officially submitted.
The creation of a ZIP file does not in itself constitute an application to the Department of Health. The created file must be sent by electronic submission via the public administration portal (slovensko.sk) with a certified electronic signature of the statutory body, no later than 30 April 2026.
Please also pay attention to the following important information about the application process:
The submission of applications is subject to the payment of an administrative fee. Account number for sending the administrative fee: SK9881800000007000150078, State Treasury. The hospital's ID number must be indicated as the variable symbol. Depending on the type of application, the amount of the administrative fee is as follows:
- When applying for conditional inclusion in the network, conditional upgrade or conditional provision of additional programmes - 400€
- When requesting a change of the hospital's place of operation details or the division of mandatory programmes between the main and partner hospital - 100€
- When requesting a downgrading of a hospital, withdrawal of complementary programmes or removal from the network - 200€
Applications shall be submitted by the hospital operator to the Ministry of Health for each hospital separately by 30 April of the calendar year. If you have any questions or complications, please contact the Ministry of Health by email at sietnemocnic@health.gov.sk.
