Feedback is a key element for hospital network optimisation reform and all your suggestions from practice are greatly appreciated.  

We ask for your patience in processing your suggestions. Due to the high number of incoming feedback from the professional public and the need for a thorough assessment of them at all stages of the process, priority is given to the submissions that will be judged as the most important by the expert working groups and the categorisation committee. We work closely with the Expert Working Groups to assess the feedback.  

The deadline for submitting proposals for changes to the categorisation of residential care in the following areas is 31 March each year. Submissions will then be discussed with the Inpatient Care Categorisation Committee after discussion with the expert working groups and finalised by the end of August. Subsequently, in the next amendment, effective always on 1 January of the following year, the approved suggestions will be reflected. In 2025, submissions can be made after 31.3. in the following areas: 

• Programme profile
• Medical services
• Special staffing and MTZ
• Performance
• Diagnoses
• Quality indicators
• Time limits for availability
• Markers

The deadline for submission of suggestions/feedback for categorization of hospitals is April 30 every year, for the following areas : 

• Initiatives for hospital applications for categorisation of hospitals
• Input to decisions on hospital categorisation
• Incentives to evaluate the hospital network

For the following areas, you can give feedback all year round:  

• Algorithm for inclusion in the MS and disputes between the GP and the PHC in the inclusion
• Legal issues
