Currently, when the primary DRG diagnosis C18.0 is combined with procedure 5n270.21, our grouper classifies it based solely on the diagnosis. For the procedure, the ORDINIS hospital information system (from Adasoft) reports that the procedure is not OSN-relevant. Is this correct? In our opinion, this DG+VYK combination should be classified under medical program No. 44, not program No. 40, as is currently the case.
