Service Code 93032 – Long-Term Intensive Care – Level I and Medical Service MS 01-23 were removed from the relevant appendices because they were not used in practice as a separate reporting mechanism. Providers did not actually report Service 93032, and MS 01-23 was not the method used in practice to report this type of care. Appendix No. 3 continues to define Level I of the AIM program as long-term intensive care, thereby maintaining its substantive classification within the AIM program. The removal of the procedure and medical service is thus based on aligning the categorization with the actual method of reporting healthcare services.
