Reassignment of an existing diagnosis
Question
We would like to comment on the classification of the diagnosis F51.0 (non-organic insomnia) under Level 3 of the psychiatric program. We consider this classification to be incorrect, as Level 3 of the psychiatric program—and thus the scope of a sleep laboratory—covers specific sleep disorders: sleep apnea, parasomnias, and the like. We request that you consider reclassifying the aforementioned diagnosis to a lower level within the hospital categorization system.
